It Was Always Ours: A Mother’s Day Reflection

It Was Always Ours: A Mother’s Day Reflection

May has always been a special month for me.

The month I became a mother. The month the world celebrates Mother’s Day.

But for me, it begins with my daughter.

When she was born, everything changed — not perfectly, not neatly, but in the most real and beautiful way.

Motherhood brought with it the quiet chaos no one can truly prepare you for. The long nights. The doubts. The tenderness. The moments of exhaustion that somehow coexist with the deepest kind of love.

And somewhere within all of that, I found something I did not even know I was searching for.

A deeper connection to myself. A new way of feeling. A new way of being.

Becoming a mother did not only change my life — it brought me closer to the woman I am today.

Over the years, I also realized that fear is not something only children feel. As women, as mothers, as founders, we carry fears too. Fear of failing. Fear of not being enough. Fear of beginning something new.

But motherhood taught me something equally important: that moving forward takes commitment, resilience, and a quiet kind of courage.

And somewhere in that journey, INTENSIFY ME Boutique came to life.

What began as a personal search during my breastfeeding years — a desire to feel beautiful, connected to myself, and inspired again — slowly became something much larger than me.

I wanted to create a space where women could rediscover themselves through pieces that make them feel sensual, confident, and fully present in who they are.

Not just a lingerie store. But a feeling.

A place where femininity is not performed, but lived. Where softness and strength can exist together. Where women can choose themselves, exactly as they are.

This Mother’s Day, I find myself reflecting on inheritance. Not only what we pass down through words, but through presence. Through gestures. Through the way we love.

The women who come before us live within us. And the women who come after us watch us more than we realize.

Perhaps womanhood is not something we are taught. Perhaps it is something we slowly recognize in ourselves.

And one day, quietly, without announcement — you realize:

it was always yours.

With love,
