Rainkiss is a Dutch rainwear brand that brings a distinctive sense of style to an everyday necessity.

Founded in Amsterdam in 2019, the brand creates rain ponchos that combine practical design with an unexpected use of colour and pattern.

Made from 100% certified recycled polyester, produced from recycled plastic bottles, its collections offer a more thoughtful alternative to disposable rainwear.

What makes Rainkiss interesting is the attention given to something so ordinary. A rain poncho becomes more than a way to stay dry, with carefully considered details and prints that make each design distinctive.

Why I Fell in Love with Rainkiss

I've always loved getting around by bicycle. It was part of my everyday life in Amsterdam, and it still is here in Basel.

I discovered Rainkiss while living in Amsterdam, where rain is simply part of life. I remember thinking how nice it was to find a rain poncho that I actually wanted to wear.

I loved the prints, but also how easy it was to use. It's light enough to take along wherever I go, and I can wear it all year round, over a tank top on a warm day or even over my winter jacket.

Knowing that it's made from recycled materials makes me appreciate it even more.

Rainkiss has stayed with me since my Amsterdam days, and I'm happy to have it here in the boutique. Perhaps next time you're in Basel, you'll come across a print you love, too.
