Slow Fashion
Fast fashion is a significant environmental and ethical concern, contributing around 10% of global CO2 emissions and generating 92 million tonnes of waste annually. Its impact is severe, from the pollution caused by the production of raw materials like polyester, nylon, and cotton to the creation of a culture of excessive consumption. This not only strains the environment in producing countries but also increases waste in the markets where these products are sold. Moreover, the fast fashion industry often operates with low standards and unethical working conditions, including low wages, precarious labor rights, and in some cases, child labor and the exploitation of women.
At INTENSIFY ME, we are committed to making a positive change by offering a sustainable alternative in Switzerland. We champion slow fashion and responsible consumption by providing high-quality, versatile garments designed for longevity. Our mission extends beyond just offering beautiful lingerie; we aim to create decent job opportunities for vulnerable women in Brazil, ensuring that our production supports ethical practices and contributes to a more sustainable and equitable fashion industry.
