Sustainability
At INTENSIFY ME, our commitment goes beyond creating exceptional lingerie; we are deeply dedicated to ethical and sustainable practices throughout our entire production process.
Ecological Dyeing
Dye mills consume a significant amount of water, and a large portion of this water can end up as toxic and non-potable waste, impacting local ecosystems if not properly managed. We partner exclusively with dyeing companies certified by CETESB (Environmental Company of the State of São Paulo), ensuring that all liquid and solid waste is managed responsibly.
Our dyeing process includes:
- Water Treatment: 50% of the water used is treated, while the other 50% is repurposed to cool dyeing machines and flush toilets. The treated water is disposed of according to CETESB standards.
- Solid Waste Management: Solid waste is collected by a CETESB-registered company, ensuring proper disposal.
Traced Raw Materials
We prioritize sourcing raw materials that align with our sustainability standards. While most of our materials are sourced nationally, we also import some. In either case, we trace the origin and location of our suppliers to ensure they meet our production and sustainability criteria.
Other Sustainable Actions
- Eco-friendly Packaging: Our lingerie is packaged in reusable filo bags, which can serve as lingerie holders.
- Plastic Reuse: All plastic used in our stock is reused until it reaches the end of its useful life.
- Upcycling: We repurpose production leftovers into upcycled products offered at more affordable prices.
- Timeless Pieces: We encourage green consumption through our line of permanent and timeless designs.
- Fair Trade and Conscious Design: We adhere to fair trade principles and are committed to conscious design practices.
By integrating these sustainable and ethical practices, we aim to make a positive impact on both the environment and our community, ensuring that every piece of INTENSIFY ME lingerie reflects our dedication to a better future.
